CMRichey provided comprehensive electrical services for critical systems upgrades at Charter Communications’ Hub K Facility in Flushing, Queens. The scope included new distribution feeders, switchgear, transformers, rectifier panel, DC plant components, inverters and inverter panels, emergency generator with cam-lock panel, and lighting fixture upgrades.
As part of the project, CMRichey installed a new DC power plant and all associated infrastructure, including DC bus duct and DC cabling to equipment. All work was performed within an active critical-systems environment, requiring highly coordinated logistics, specialized rigging, and technically demanding installations—many of which were executed during carefully scheduled after-hours shifts to maintain operational continuity.
