Located in Manhattan’s Chelsea neighborhood, the Avenues World School project involved the fit-out of a five-story, 65,000-square-foot high-end private school for nursery, Pre-K, and kindergarten students. The facility included classrooms, science labs, art, music, and dance studios, and a kiln room—all featuring intricate ceiling and millwork details. CMRichey’s scope encompassed a complex lighting and control system, low-voltage cabling, switchgear, general power, and a fire alarm system.
The project was executed concurrently with the building’s 151,000-square-foot, 10-story core and shell development—also completed by CMRichey—which required ongoing coordination between the core & shell and fit-out teams, as well as with the client, to maintain alignment and project continuity.
