This 120,000-square-foot, seven-story ground-up facility serves as a new academic and administrative center on Pratt Institute’s Brooklyn campus. The building includes administrative offices, design laboratories, art studios, and ground-floor retail spaces.
CMRichey’s scope included a new Con Edison electrical service, generator, high-end lighting fixtures with a building-wide control system, mechanical and general power systems, and a complete fire alarm system.
The project achieved LEED Gold certification, reflecting its commitment to sustainable design. Extensive use of linear lighting fixtures required precise layout coordination to ensure alignment with architectural finishes and support the building’s refined interior aesthetic.
