Uncle Giuseppe’s Marketplace – Greenvale, NY

About The Project

The 56,000 square foot Uncle Giuseppe’s Marketplace project in Greenvale showcases the technical expertise and coordination our team delivers. We provided a complete package for this project, including the electrical and fire alarm engineering required to power extensive culinary operations: a full-scale commercial bakery, custom deli, pizza kitchen, seafood kitchen, butcher kitchen, pasta kitchen, mozzarella room, candy/coffee area, sushi area, cheese cutting station, and hot food stations, alongside massive refrigeration networks.

Instead of installing traditional indoor rooms for electrical and refrigeration equipment that consume valuable retail space, we designed and built a penthouse to house the electrical distribution, energy management system, and refrigeration compressors. This 40’x24′ penthouse was built off-site at our facility. Once the engineered structural steel rooftop dunnage platform was complete, we transported the penthouse, along with a 500kW natural gas backup generator, to the site and rigged the units to the roof via a high-capacity crane. This innovative approach saved crucial interior floor space, drastically accelerated the installation timeline, and eliminated trade bottlenecks.

We coordinated closely with crane operators, structural engineers, the general contractor, and utility and town representatives to synchronize structural installations, safety inspections, and system testing.

Ultimately, we leaned on decades of experience to deliver this highly technical, fast-moving project safely, on time, and on budget, ensuring the marketplace’s electrical and mechanical backbone operates flawlessly.
