The United Cerebral Palsy project on Manhattan’s Upper West Side was an exciting renovation project involving several phases of construction. The seven-story, 1912 building is a multi-tenant, 7 story office space with parking below. CM Richey was chosen as a trade project manager to provide pre-construction design & assistance services with electrical infrastructure. The complexity of the project included replacing and decommissioning the existing Con Edison service while keeping the building operational. An LED lighting package was specified for the 70,000 sf tenant fit-out portion of the project along with new common area power, egress, and general lighting.  This also included replacing the fire alarm infrastructure with a new 2-way voice communication system.
